Leadership Conferences
Emerging Leadership Conference (ELC)

DECA members from all across the state come together for 2 days to learn about leadership skills, competition tips, networking, and so much more!
There is also plenty of time to use the waterpark, meet new friends, and enjoy the adventure-park!
Central Regions Leadership Conference (CRLC)

This trip is reserved for HHS DECA leaders and invited members who show dedication and leadership potential.
DECA members from the midwest come together to practice their competition skills, learn from industry leaders, and refine their leadership skills, competition tips, networking, and so much more!
Tours are offered at US Bank Stadium, Mall of America, Target Field and more!

Community Service Events
Trick or Can
In the month of October, our DECA chapter reaches out to local neighborhoods to ask for canned good donations. Then, on the night of Trick or Treating, we pull out our favorite costume and return to those neighborhoods to collect their donations. In past years, we have donated as much as 400 bags of food!
Toy Drive for Children's Wisconsin
In December, DECA members collect toys to donate to Children's Wisconsin. Children's then gives these gifts to the kids hospitalized over the holiday and unable to attend their "normal" celebration.
Adopt a Classroom
In December, 30-35 DECA members are provided the opportunity to pair with a first grade student from an elementary school in Milwaukee. DECA members purchase a small gift for their student and then deliver the presents (and juice and cookies!) to the kids during school. Members then help the kids put their presents together and play games for a bit before school ends.
